The Jonard Tools Mid Span Slit & Ring Tool for cables from 58 to 12mm is designed to provide easy access to Prysmian ESMF Optical Mini FlexTube® cables (as well as other thick-walled 58 to 12mm diameter jackets - including Corning equivalent cables) It consists of four precision slitting grooves and four precision ring grooves ranging in size from 58 to 12mm One side of the tool performs radial/ring cuts and the other side slits the cable (longitudinal cut) The indicator line on top of the unit indicates the position of the blade for accurate slitting and ringing
